Coventry University has opted into the TEF and received a Gold award.
You could have the opportunity to study for a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree on this three or four-year Civil Engineering degree course. Civil engineering is a challenging, demanding and rewarding profession, and is designed to enable you to contribute to the present and future wellbeing of modern and developing societies throughout the world.
Your studies are underpinned by three core course themes, which are carefully balanced across all years of the course, centred on specific technical knowledge, construction practice and skills development through group project work.
We aim to provide an insight into the full breadth of design and construction disciplines that collaborate in the multidisciplinary construction industry. Full-time students also have the potential to benefit from the practical experience brought to the course by part-time students already working in industry.
Throughout the three years of study, we will cover the principles and practice of civil engineering within a global context, including structural analysis and design, materials, geotechnics, highways and surveying, construction and project management, hydraulics and water engineering.
