A work based learning award which combines health and social care education with either existing employment or work placements to develop skills and competencies for a wide range of roles across the Health, Social or Community Care sectors.

Normally GCSE English Language or English Literature and Mathematics at grade C or
above or equivalents (please see below), plus one of the following:
- We particularly welcome applications from ‘mature’ students who have practical
GCSE English and Maths equivalents

- Level 2 Key Skills/Application of Number
- Equivalency test from www.equivalencytesting.co.uk
