Studying business management will prepare you for a career that can cross any sector or industry.

From day one, we’ll give you the opportunity to become a well-rounded manager. Our degree course will give you an introduction to the foundations of business practices, such as marketing, finance, economics and human resources. You’ll also take core modules in management and leadership theory.

Our range of optional modules will allow you extend your knowledge of economics and sustainability, or to pick up a foreign language.

Management students at Anglia Ruskin University can now bolster their advanced management training with CMI accreditation, thanks to a new partnership with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). This means that students on the BSc (Hons) Business Management, BSc (Hons) Business Management & Leadership and the MBA at Anglia Ruskin will achieve a considerable competitive advantage and provide an effective route to career progression.

Assessment method

You can expect an interesting mix of coursework, essays, exams and activity-based assignments. Your coursework could include problem-solving activities, consultancy projects, presentations, and group or individual reports. You'll also be able to access support materials supported by materials accessed through our virtual learning environment (VLE).

All assessment is designed to allow you to demonstrate what you’ve learned, and to make sure you’re developing the knowledge and skills you need to complete the course successfully.
