The BA (Hons) Social Science degree has been designed to draw together the fascinating areas of Sociology, Criminology, Psychology and Law. You will begin to understand what society is and how human behaviour and institutions like the government work together, amongst other broad topics within the social sciences. You will examine how social lives are constructed and consider the factors that affect how we interact, including class, race, gender, religion, family and nationality. You will gain a wide range of skills and develop your ability to think critically and analytically, giving you the transferable skills that are highly valued by many employers.

This Social Science degree has standard entry requirements. To be eligible for this course through the standard entry requirements you must have either:

Two subjects at GCE A level or equivalent, plus passes at grade C or above in three subjects at GCSE level or equivalent;
Completed a recognised Access Programme or equivalent.
