This qualification provides the knowledge, understanding and skills required for success in employment within the health and social care sector at supervisory or management level.
On completion of the HNC, you can progress to the HND.
Modules include: Law, Policy and Ethical Practice in Health and Social Care; Demonstrating Professional Principles and Values in Health and Social Care Practice; Supporting the Individual Journey through Integrated Health and Social Care; Fundamentals of Evidence-based Practice (Pearson-set Project); Developing Operational Management Skills for Healthcare Practice; Effective Reporting and Record-keeping in Health and Social Care Services; Supporting Individuals with Specific Needs
Assessment is by coursework, work placement and final research project.

BTEC Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or A Level in a relevant subject, supported by GCSE grades at A*-C.
Other related level 3 qualifications, or an Access to Higher Education certificate will also meet the entry requirements.
Related work experience can be advantageous.
