University of the Arts London has opted into the TEF and received a Silver award.
This new course is part of Wimbledon College of Arts' portfolio of theatre and performance courses.
BA Contemporary Theatre and Performance at Wimbledon College of Arts is for students who are interested in making performance.
You will have the opportunity to pursue this through directing, writing, devising, as well as performing. You will work collaboratively to create contemporary theatre productions and to develop innovative forms of performance.
The course will enable you to work in an ensemble and to form a company or collective. You will plan, design, develop and deliver performance projects for a range of theatrical and non-theatrical locations and contexts, ensuring your work is engaged with contemporary culture.
Qualified teacher status (QTS)
To work as a teacher at a state school in England or Wales, you will need to achieve qualified teacher status (QTS). This is offered on this course for the following level:
