Our Events Management course offers you an excellent opportunity to study one of the world’s most dynamic and fastest-growing industries. This course highlights the importance of events in various contexts and aims to teach you how to plan and manage events. You will also explore a range of industry-related issues.
The Marketing Management course provides you with an opportunity to learn about a dynamic profession and study for a professional qualification with the Chartered Institute of Marketing. At Chester, you will develop a variety of skills and key marketing disciplines which will ensure you are well placed to follow a career in Marketing. You will research a variety of industry-related topics and issues, and develop a range of professional skills.
Teaching takes place at the Queen’s Park Campus.

Assessment method

Events Management: We use a broad range of assessment methods, including reports, academic essays, examinations, discussion groups, presentations, debates, practical work and portfolios of evidence. The majority of assessment is via various forms of coursework.
Marketing Management: We use a wide range of assessment methods, including business reports, essays, exams, presentations, seminar papers, research projects and practical work. The majority of assessed work is through coursework.
