This programme is suited to students who have completed a Level 3 course in Business or a related subject and are looking to progress their career within the sector. The course will provide a stimulating and challenging programme of study with the essential subject knowledge needed to progress into further study or work. The programme aims to equip you with business skills and knowledge as well as provide opportunities to develop skills and techniques for a successful working life.
You will study units covering a wide range of Business topics, to give you a broad understanding of how businesses operate and develop in a dynamic marketplace. Modules will normally include: Business and the Business Environment; Marketing Essentials; Human Resource Management; Management and Operations; Management Accounting; Managing a Successful Business Project. Plus, a selection of optional units dependent upon the subject pathway.
A series of written and practical work is assessed by your tutors and will determine your overall grade.
Qualified teacher status (QTS)
