Kingston Maurward College has opted into the TEF and received a Bronze award.
This degree programme will prepare you for a career in agriculture, by combining applied scientific and research skills with an in-depth knowledge of livestock technology and crop science. Furthermore, it will support the Government's commitment to agriculture through its Agri-Tech Strategy. You will develop a scientific understanding of the nutrition, physiology, behaviour, health and welfare of farm production animals and the impact that their environment has on them. You will also learn about crop science and productivity at a genetic, field and farm level. You will develop the necessary skills and knowledge to apply scientific knowledge and innovative technology to optimise crop and animal production and develop an understanding of the issues affecting sustainable agriculture at both a global and UK level.
