Half your study time will be spent gaining real-world experience in NHS placements at hospital and community-based settings across two counties. Here you’ll be able to develop your evidence-based clinical skills, critical thinking and leadership skills within a varied learning environment.
Starting in 2018/2019, we have partnered with the Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust (SaTH) to offer Golden Tickets to all adult nursing students at the start of their third year of study. This guarantees you a job at either the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital or the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford after graduation.
