Study Events Management at a top ten university (Guardian Good University Guide 2018**) and get a guaranteed work placement and overseas trip included.

Event management is an exciting industry. You will need skills in creativity, team working and project planning to be successful. Our degree offers plenty of hands-on opportunities to develop these skills whilst organising a range of events as part of the course.

You’ll engage with the tourism and events industry throughout your studies. We work with a number of leading events organisations, offering you valuable work experience during your course. You'll also develop live event briefs for local and regional organisations. This provides experience in managing social media for events – a great opportunity to enhance your CV.

An overseas residential study tour is a highlight of the course. We have also previously visited the London Olympic Games and International Confex, the World Travel Market and Travel Technology Europe in London.

**Tourism and Events ranked 6th for teaching quality and 7th for student experience out of 61 institutions delivering hospitality, leisure, rec and tourism.

On successful completion of study, we will issue the following award: BA (Hons) Events Management
