East Riding College has opted into the TEF and received a Silver award.
This level 6 programme is for applicants who are keen to gain a BA (Hons) Degree and have the option to apply on to a Graduate Programme or for a more specialist roles with the Public Services, such as researcher, officer in the armed forces, Local Council/Government, Courts and the Probationary service. Supervisors or middle managers currently working in the Public Services may find the programme appealing for their own personal development
Modules will include:
Managing and organising a project
Regeneration, sustainability and communities
Global and social policy issues
Equality, diversity, social exclusion and community cohesion
The course will include a variety of assessment methods including essays, case studies, presentations, projects, portfolios, report writing and dissertation.

Entry requirements: Foundation degree Level 5 or HND, and college interview.
Applications will be viewed on an application by application basis
Accredited Prior Learning (APL) will also be taken into consideration alongside extensive work experience in the public service.
A typical offer for this course would ask for the entry requirements to be met, however, all offers take individual applicants’ experience and qualifications into account.
