Aberystwyth is a centre for the study of Welsh history with expertise ranging from the medieval through to the modern period and a range of exciting themes, such as the Glyndwr Rebellion, religion and morality in the eighteenth century, empire and migration in the nineteenth, and health and welfare in the twentieth. A minimum grade C or grade 4 pass in GCSE (or equivalent) English or Welsh is a requirement for entry to all our degree schemes. Business, Mathematics, Psychology and Science degree schemes also require a minimum grade C or grade 4 pass in GCSE (or equivalent).

Additional fee information
The UK and Welsh Governments have confirmed that EU students commencing their studies in the academic year 2021/22 will no longer be eligible for home fee status. Fees for EU students will therefore be charged in line with international fees from 2021/22 onwards.
