The world of work is increasingly reliant on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) skills. This Mathematics and Statistics degree is a trusted and relevant qualification designed to meet employers’ needs for skilled STEM graduates.

On the course, you will learn to use a range of computing and analytical skills to solve scientific, engineering and finance problems. Your studies will combine fundamental mathematical and statistical methods with highly sought-after skills in logic, problem solving and numeracy.

You will graduate with the knowledge and technical ability required for a successful career within a diverse range of sectors, from finance to government.

The foundation year course is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to continue onto your Honours degree. You will study a range of subjects that will underpin your future study and also gain valuable experience of university life, with full access to campus facilities. Successful completion of the year allows you to progress straight onto Level 4 of this course.
