Hereford College of Arts has opted into the TEF and received a Silver award.
The course gives students the opportunity to explore, examine and contextualise contemporary and collaborative performance making, whilst creating and developing their own performance work and practice. Throughout the course, emphasis is placed on individual skills development (be that acting, movement, voice or directing/choreography). Students will be encouraged to expand their artistic horizons and develop entrepreneurial skills to successfully take ownership of their future. There are extensive links with the Creative Industries, via visiting professionals, practitioners, lecturers (Gravity) and public performance opportunities in a range of established professional venues, such as the Courtyard Theatre in Hereford, as well as alternative and innovative spaces.
Modules are self-standing units of study, and you earn credits when you successfully complete them. As a full-time student you will take 120 credits each year. All Modules are compulsory and can vary in weighting from 20 to 60 credits.
