This unique degree will give you an intense and comprehensive guide to everything you need to prepare you for a career in live sound production. It is delivered exclusively in partnership with Britannia Row Productions, one of the biggest live sound companies in the world.
You'll work directly with Britannia Row Production engineers and technicians as well as your tutors on a variety of live production modules to develop your skills in areas such as: Live sound system design and optimisation, digital live sound technology, audio electrics, mix applications and studio and live multi-track recording. The course is delivered through classroom study, lectures from visiting industry experts, visits to venues and manufacturers and practical experience at real live events. You'll have independent access to studios, rehearsal space plus industry-standard equipment provided by Britannia Row and professional manufacturers. You'll build a unique portfolio of work so when you finish the course you'll be well-equipped to work in the industry or go on to further study.

A full Level 3 qualification equating to 96 UCAS points, for example a Level 3 Extended Diploma or a mix of A Levels. Ideally this will include a relevant subject, such as music, music technology or electrical design.
GCSE English and maths grade 9-4 (A*-C).
Alternatively you could have equivalent industry experience.
