The BA (Hons) in Music Business degree is a specialist vocational programme designed for those wishing to pursue a career in a range of music industry roles, such as A&R, management or promotion.
The aim of the course is to nurture entrepreneurial flair while you develop skills as a music business practitioner across a wide range of contexts. You’ll be offered the perfect opportunity to build your knowledge of the industry while developing original ideas in a creative space.

 Our well-connected tutors will guide and support you through the teaching of personal, project-management and business skills across areas such as artist management, marketing, music publishing, legislation and studio recording. You’ll also have access to work-based learning opportunities that will develop your ‘hands-on’ industry knowledge through work placements and internships with a range of music-focused employers, or in entrepreneurial ventures of your own design.

International applicants

Applicants that require a Tier 4 visa to study in the UK must meet guidelines set by UKVI and will be required to have a consultation with a member of the admissions team upon acceptance. Tier 4 students can currently study at our Brighton, Bristol, London and Manchester campuses.

At BIMM we’re determined to offer our students exceptionally good value for money. All BIMM three-year undergraduate degree courses taught in the UK are priced at £7,650 for UK and EU students, £1,600 less than many UK universities. UK/EU students studying in the UK For students to be eligible for funding from Student Finance England, they must be studying on an eligible course at a provider registered with the Office for Students (OfS). The OfS is the new independent regulator for higher education in England and all higher education providers need to register with the OfS for their students to be eligible for student support in the 2019-20 academic year. The OfS will start publishing providers on its Register from July 2018. We have made an application to register and expect a decision by November 2018. No provider will be able to confirm whether student support is available until it has a decision from the OfS. Visit officeforstudents.org.uk for more information.
