The BA (Hons) in Music Business degree is a specialist vocational programme designed for those wishing to pursue a career in a range of music industry roles, such as A&R, management or promotion.

The aim of this course is to nurture entrepreneurial flair while you develop skills as a music business practitioner across a wide range of contexts. You’ll be offered the perfect opportunity to build your knowledge of the industry while developing original ideas in a creative space.



Our professionally connected tutors will guide and support you through the teaching of personal, project management and business skills integral to artist and event management, marketing, music publishing, legislation and label strategies for recording and releasing music. You’ll also experience a number of exciting opportunities to develop ‘hands-on’ industry knowledge through recording projects, live events, work placements and internships with a range of creative industry employers. Berlin is the epicenter of the music industry and the country’s leading venues, broadcasters and companies are right on our doorstep.

International applicants

UK Campuses Applicants that require a Tier 4 visa to study in the UK must meet guidelines set by UKVI and will be required to have a consultation with a member of the admissions team upon acceptance. Tier 4 students can currently study at our Brighton, Bristol, London and Manchester campuses. Berlin and Hamburg Applicants requiring a study VISA must ensure that one is awarded before travelling to Berlin or Hamburg to begin the course. Students cannot under any circumstances start at BIMM Berlin and BIMM Hamburg using a tourist VISA, even if the decision on your study VISA is pending. If your application is unsuccessful, please let us know and we will investigate the situation for you.
