Applied Biology is designed to provide students with the key knowledge, understanding and practical skills required to build a successful career in the Biomedical Science sector. Modules include: Cell Biology, Biochemsitry of Macromolecules and Metabolic Pathways, Physiology of Celluar System in Animals, Laboratory Techniques for Applied Biology, Analysis of Scientific Data and Information, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Chemistry for Applied Biologists, , Applied Genetics of Industry, Agriculture and Medicine. The HND programme is assessed through a variety of methods, from written assignments to coursework and practical investigations.
