University of Suffolk has opted into the TEF and received a Bronze award.
We provide a cutting edge syllabus focusing on studio based games development techniques. In making both 2 and 3D games our students work in teams within an agile methodology which is now standard within the games industry. You will have access to dedicated game development labs containing high specification, dual monitor workstations, with latest games industry software. On completion of the course graduates can apply for work as games designers and seek work within the games industry generally. They can also become involved in film and TV production or develop careers in design. Alternatively they can progress to postgraduate level study at the University. BA Computer Games Design run a commercial games company ‘Waterfront Games’ which offers paid internship opportunities to graduating students.
