Set on a stunning 400 acre estate, yet in easy reach of London and the M25, Berkshire College of Agriculture (BCA) is an established provider of university level courses in land-based studies.
Validated by the Royal Agricultural University, this 2-year FdSc takes full advantage of BCA's outstanding Animal Centre which houses around 1,400 individual animals from 140 species.
One of only a handful of educational establishments to be awarded a Zoo Licence, BCA's exceptional facilities support the study of a wide range of behaviours and hands-on experience of the highest standards of welfare in a professional environment supervised by a highly qualified and dedicated team.
In addition, the BCA ‘Centre for Animal Welfare Research’ facilitates innovative staff/student collaboration, resulting in the publication of several papers each year since its foundation.
The programme provides a sound academic basis for further progression in graduate and/or professional education.
