While studying our top-up degree, you will develop skills as a critically reflexive practitioner and learn to be a visionary leader needed for effective practice in a diverse, multidisciplinary environment. You will reflect and review practice and policy and learn the importance of encouraging a child's development in partnership with their family and other professionals. You will be supported to develop skills of critical analysis and apply these to issues of current concern in the Early Years. In addition you will explore multiple perspectives of childhood and have the opportunity to research areas of personal interest in the Early Years.
