Tyne Coast College has opted into the TEF and received a Silver award.
The BTEC level 5 HND in Applied Biology is a vocational and practical science based course. The course offers the chance to buildskills in the area of Biomedical science and progress directly into employment in the applied biology or biomedical science sector.
Learners will be assessed by a varietyof means including coursework, prcatical activities, presentation work, debates and open book tests.
