Our course in Adult Nursing, which is accredited by the Nursing & Midwifery Council, expertly blends theory with real world experience to give you all the skills needed to feel confident working as a nurse with adult patients in a variety of settings.

You’ll acquire a universal knowledge of the profession from highly qualified and experienced practitioners, and develop core practical skills in our interactive learning facilities and simulation suites, which replicate a range of clinical environments and allow you to perform various techniques in a safe and controlled setting. 90% of our final year students agree our staff are good at explaining things (National Student Survey, 2018).

As a nursing student, you will undertake placements in a number of exciting and diverse locations for 50% of your time on the course, giving you the hands-on experience needed to grow in both confidence and competence. You will also have the option to undertake part-time placement and complete the course over 3.5 years, which is great if you have commitment outside your course.
