Course summary

The BSc Management for Social Change programme at Queen Mary University of London will enable you, in learning about organisational management, to address the grand social challenges of our day, such as inequality and poverty. You will explore innovative, multidisciplinary, mindful, and responsible approaches to business and management, while building on your creative thinking, communication and analytical skills. You will study traditional business and management subjects, including accounting, marketing and human resources, alongside more contemporary topics such as equality, diversity and inclusion, social entrepreneurship and civil society organisations, globalisation and organisational innovation. We are a socially-engaged management school with an innovative, multidisciplinary, mindful and responsible approach to business and management. We are well connected with some of the country’s leading non-profit organisations and charities, as well as large private business corporations, who also subscribe to social and environmental goals. Using our network, you will have work-related experiences throughout the programme that offer engagement with leading practitioners in the sector. You will develop a deep understanding of specialist aspects of social change management, including governance and regulatory environments, project management, fundraising and volunteer-management and social impact and evaluation.
