Course summary

Modern industry is highly competitive and globalised, and consequently graduates need to be both technically competent and have a good understanding of business. This degree course addresses both of these areas and teaches you how to bring a new product to the market. It focuses on technological aspects such as automotive design, chassis and powertrain technology, body engineering, including materials and manufacturing methods, and vehicle aerodynamics. In your final year there is a group design project that integrates all of these disciplines, and teaches you management skills which will equip you for a wide variety of career paths.
