Course Overview Our undergraduate degree in Education, Philosophy & Religion is the ideal route into teaching training, alongside a range of other professions. Why study with us
- You can take work placements in each of your three years of study, in settings such as a nursery, primary or secondary schools, or in further education.
- Learning from academic staff who are active researchers. Our academic staff work in fields such as teaching and learning, bioethics, professional ethics, philosophy of mind, and mental health.
- We offer a semester-long placement in each year of study. You will gain valuable experience as you are immersed in educational settings to better understand the day to day realities and dynamics of being in a classroom.
- The course is ideal if you are considering a career in education. This includes further study in teacher training, or into a non-teaching professional career.
- Combine the study of Education with Philosophy and Religion, combining each or take clear pathways in each subject.
- This degree leads to a range of opportunities for a career in education or associated professional roles.
