Course summary
This degree is delivered at our Confetti London Campus in Whitechapel. The integrated foundation year at Confetti London is the perfect choice for those wanting to gain valuable knowledge and insight of the creative and entertainment industries before specialising in their chosen degree at Confetti. You’ll learn all about the creative and entertainment industries, spending time in lectures, seminars, and practical settings. The assessment methods are also the same as the other degree years, with a mixture of exams and essays, so you’ll be fully prepared to start your full honours degree. On successful completion, you’ll be able to join onto the Year One of BA (Hons) Music Production. BA (Hons) Music Production The modern music producer has many strings to their bow: whether that's recording and creating on a laptop or in a full hardware studio, this hands-on degree will arm you with the skills you need to succeed. Learning in world-class studios, packed full of industry-standard kit, you'll explore music creation from a technical and creative standpoint and discover and nurture your own creative path. You’ll learn practical music theory and apply to your own compositions, whether that’s individually or collaboratively in your work in employable fields such as media composition or songwriting. You'll understand and work within commercial parameters to ensure you graduate with the best chance of working within music, but you'll be encouraged to explore the more experimental ends of recording, production and composition to truly find your own identity. You'll have plenty of opportunities to put your learning into practice, through live projects, masterclasses and guest lectures. You’ll also benefit from being assigned an industry mentor in your final year.
