The this four-year course with an integrated foundation year leads to the same qualification as our three-year honours degree. It has been specifically designed for those wanting to undertake degree-level study but who may not meet the entry requirements or have traditional qualifications. The Foundation Year (Year 0) offers you the chance to expand and strengthen your confidence, skills and knowledge – ensuring that you are well-prepared and qualified to progress into Year 1 of the undergraduate degree. How and where people work is changing. New ways of thinking about employment and the role organisations play in the world is crucial. Globalization means that effective and fair management of people is more vital than ever. By studying at Bangor, you’ll gain the knowledge and skills you need to help individuals, organisations and your own career thrive. You will be provided with a strong basis of theoretical and practical learning and be encouraged to develop the critical thinking skills and strategic orientation that underpins excellence in the Human Resources profession. This degree will develop your skills and knowledge in two connected areas: general management and the strategic and practical management of human resources. ‘Placement Year’ and 'International Experience Year’ options are available for this course. You will have the opportunity to fully consider these options when you have started your course at Bangor and can make an application for a transfer onto such a pathway at the appropriate time. We are happy to accept combinations of the qualifications listed above, as well as alternative Level 3 qualifications such as: Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), City & Guilds Advanced Technical Diplomas, Cambridge Technical Certificates and Diplomas. We also welcome applications from mature learners and/or those with other qualifications are considered on individual merit International Applicants We are currently unable to accept applications from international students for this course.
