Course summary
Our brand new BSc Business with Management programme is designed to attract students who already hold a HND (level 5) or equivalent qualifications and develop them with the knowledge, skills, and experience required for graduate-level employment in business fields. This one-year programme will provide you with leadership and management skills and practical tools from the very start so that you can deliver real impact for your working organisation. As well as covering core management functions, this programme specifically focuses on addressing the global challenges of today with an emphasis on sustainability, innovation, entrepreneurship, and the strategic management and leadership skills that are required in today’s highly dynamic work environment. We understand that combining your existing work, family, and social commitments with leadership and management education can be challenging. Therefore, our one year BSc Business with Management programme has been designed to provide you with maximum student support. Teaching is delivered face-to-face with opportunities to engage with your peers in highly interactive learning.
Modules
This programme has one entry point in a typical academic year. It consists of eight taught modules and includes seven core modules and two 10-credit modules. The core programme design embeds innovation, entrepreneurship, digital fluency, and sustainability in the curriculum to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in a rapidly changing business environment. There are synchronous and asynchronous lectures delivered online and weekly synchronous online tutorials. Throughout the programme, you will also undertake substantial independent study. Applicants who have successfully completion of two years of Higher Education with 240 ECTS credits (or equivalent) may be considered. An applicant who does note possess one of the qualifications which satisfies the General Academic Entry Requirement may be considered through the Salford Alternative Entry Scheme.
