Course summary

Help to enrich local, national and international communities through research by joining a team of expert researchers in the field of Culture, Heritage and Society. Using creative practices and top-flight facilities, you can help to lead research in the arenas of regeneration of cities, social justice, philosophy, tourism, film and media production, augmented and virtual realities, theatre and drama, music, history and archaeology. Assessment method

Students will go through an early stage review and late stage review prior to the formal submission and defence of their thesis at a formal viva.

The University welcomes applications from International applicants for full-time on campus or distance learning PhD study.

Entry requirements

Upper second class, or better, undergraduate award, or equivalent, in connected subject area. Most students will also hold a related Masters degree or have other research experience. You will also need to demonstrate that you meet the University’s English Language requirements for study at PhD level.
