This design-based degree is accredited by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and provides exemption from the RIBA Part I examination. You will work on design projects that involve manual and computer-aided drawing and model making and we encourage you to develop your own design style.

Qualification requirements

Candidates may be required to submit a portfolio as part of the application process. Further guidance on what to submit and how will be given when the portfolio is requested. Foundation Diplomas and UAL Extended Diploma UAL Extended Diploma - Distinction overall. All candidates will be required to submit a portfolio for review as part of the selection process. A Foundation Diploma in Art and Design can be considered alongside A levels or other Level 3 qualifications. Candidates may be required to submit a portfolio for review as part of the selection process. Entry to second year is not permitted
