This is a Connected Degree Portsmouth is the only University in the UK with the flexibility to choose when to do an optional paid placement or self-employed year. Either take a placement in your third year, or finish your studies first and complete a placement in your fourth year. You can decide if and when to take a placement after you've started your course. Overview Financial Technology covers a wide range of services, including mobile banking apps, peer-to-peer lending platforms, robo-advisors for investing, cryptocurrency exchanges, and more. It's revolutionising the traditional financial industry by making financial services more convenient, affordable, and inclusive for everyone. As financial institutions increasingly adopt these technologies, the demand for FinTech graduates is strong. By studying our BSc (Hons) Financial Technology course, you'll graduate with a diverse set of skills that blend finance, technology, and business acumen, preparing them for a career is this growing field.
