Course summary
This exciting and intensive one-year taught postgraduate programme has been established for over a decade. It is taught by a team of dedicated academic staff who are leaders in their field, publishing definitive textbooks with Cambridge University Press and Springer, ranging from introductions to stochastic processes and mathematical finance to crucial modern concerns such as credit risk. In a typical year the class consists of around 15-20 students, from a number of different countries, with many classes taught in our dedicated new lakeside Master's Study Centre. The Department of Mathematics, the University of York, and the historic City of York provide a uniquely attractive environment in which to live and study.
