Course summary
The rapid development and rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI) provides a huge opportunity for business innovation across industry, but there is a shortage of AI talent in the commercial world. You’ll learn how to propose the right AI tools, and apply them strategically, to provide real world business solutions. Our business Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence for Business is structured with an emphasis on meeting industry needs. As well as developing a deep understanding and appreciation of the foundations of AI and machine learning, we will centre on contemporary business issues including ethics, privacy, security, and risk. This business Master's degree is available to study on-campus or online as a full-time course (1 year) or with Professional Practice Year (2 years), or part-time (2 years). We are focused on your future employability, and you will learn key Artificial Intelligence functions, the benefits of AI in business and AI implementation, alongside the professional skills required to be a strong and effective leader in a data-rich environment. Focused on practical application and working on real-world case studies, you will be taught by industry specialists with business expertise in workshop-style classes to ensure you can benefit from greater interaction with your lecturer and network with fellow students. NEW MSc Artificial Intelligence for Business with Professional Practice This course is offered as a 2-year full-time business Master’s programme. Sharing the first year of study with the 1-year MSc Artificial Intelligence for Business, the 2-year programme benefits from a second year of Professional Practice that is specifically aimed at fostering the employment opportunities of students. Offering greater flexibility than a traditional Placement Year, our Professional Practice Year allows you to decide how to put your skills into practice. Choose between an academic dissertation, business plan, business or consultancy project, or a paid placement in industry, depending on the option that is best suited to your future career path.
