Modules
Year 1 - During the first year you will be introduced to the principal areas of business & management, whilst at the same time gaining an overview of the sports & fitness industries & looking at the specifics of managing people in sport. Year 2 - In the second year you will study the core disciplines of Marketing & Financial Accounting & will focus on the business of sport within the current economic environment. Within the Marketing module students will develop their understanding of the fundamental marketing concepts, applying knowledge learned through case studies specific to the sports & leisure industries. Year 3 - In the final year you will be able to enhance your knowledge of the sports & leisure industries by undertaking a range of dedicated options. You will also have the opportunity to undertake a piece of research on a particular aspect of the sports & leisure industries, which will be presented in the form of a dissertation.
