Marketing is one of the most exciting, fast-paced and varied careers in the business world combining both creative and analytical skills. This degree sets Marketing within the wider business context; you will develop the range of leadership and management skills you need for your career as well as covering key aspects of marketing such as communications, digital marketing and social media marketing. You will also build your personal portfolio of professional evidence which will enhance your CV and help you in job applications and interviews. This course is taught at our University of Salford campus close to Manchester city centre. We have worked with industry partners to make sure the programme is highly practical, career-focused and industry-informed to prepare you for a successful career. As a marketing student, you’ll also benefit from our industry links with guest speakers from the public, private and not-for-profit sectors providing you with an insight into how different organisations market themselves in different environments. We are proud to work with our student panel to ensure our teaching is relevant, inclusive and respectful for all. This course is available with a Professional Experience Year, giving you the opportunity to apply the skills, knowledge and understanding you have gained in the first two years of the course. If you choose to take the professional year option, you will not pay fees to the University and will earn a wage for the work that you do. There are different entry requirements and course codes for the Professional Experience Year option. In addition, you may choose to Study Abroad with one of our partner Universities for a semester or a year. This degree is also offered with a Foundation Year.
