Hull York Medical School, a partnership between the Universities of Hull and York, provides a unique undergraduate medicine programme, designed to equip the doctors of tomorrow with the skills they need to deliver exceptional healthcare. The Gateway Year is designed for students from a widening participation background with a clear focus on recruiting students locally and supporting their learning. The aim is to progressively build skills and experience so that students gradually develop skills of enquiry-based learning within a challenging but supportive learning environment, ready for entry to the MB BS.

University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT)
You will need to achieve Band 1, 2 or 3 in the Situational Judgement Test part of the UCAT. Applicants with Band 4 (the lowest band) will not be considered. English language requirements
Non-native speakers of English without the required GCSE will be required to achieve a total IELTS score of 7.5 with a minimum component score of 7.0.
