This professionally accredited MEng Honours degree includes an additional year of Master's-level study, which deepens your knowledge and provides the basis for registering as a Chartered Engineer. You focus on the design of structures, such as bridges and buildings, through topics including sustainable engineering systems and construction management‌. During the fourth year you develop your research skills through an investigative research project and study advanced topics such as seismic resistant design, unique and unusual structures and structural reliability and analysis.
