Course summary
Develop your expertise in architecture and the built environment. You’ll find new, creative and socially responsible ways to practice. Prepare to engage in the landscapes of architectural production, culture and politics. You’ll address the wide range of tasks and modes of operation performed by architectural practitioners besides traditional work in an architectural office. During your course, you’ll focus on one of four interdisciplinary strands:
- ARCHITECTURAL AGENCY & LIVE PROJECT PEDAGOGY
- DIGITAL & MATERIAL MORPHOLOGY
- SCENE, SEQUENCE AND MEDIATED COMMONS
- DISPLACEMENT, OTHER-NESS & MULTIPLICITY
- Gain an understanding of the traditional craft and spatial logic of architectural design
- Use a range of media throughout your writing and design projects to explore a defined area of research
- Develop a unique set of competencies that will enable you to think creatively

Entry requirements
Applicants should either have at least a second class honours degree in the cognate subjects of Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Planning or Interior Design, at least a second class honours degree in a non-cognate subject supported by evidence of an aptitude for the subject applied for, or have equivalent experience or training, normally from within the work environment.
