Then you’ll spend most of your week in the School of Geography learning about issues defining our present, like international development, geopolitics and the changing nature of work. Many of our modules contain fieldwork in London, the UK and overseas too. Maybe you’ll head to Spitalfields market to examine urban consumption or travel to Boston to meet climate change activists and tech entrepreneurs. Put your practical skills into action You’ll be driven to create a positive impact by our expert researchers. Imagine being taught by leaders who’ve had research included in ground-breaking climate change reports and others who’ve featured on BBC Panorama. We’ll support you as you develop your own versatile skills portfolio. That looks like coaching and mentoring through dedicated careers support, alumni networking, and help with finding projects in local charities and internships in local businesses or start-ups. Your combination of business know-how and geographical expertise will prepare you for a range of careers in the public and private sectors.
