Entry requirements
Applicants for this course should have a first degree usually with a minimum 2.2 classification from a UK university or equivalent. It is expected that applicants will be working in a school or similar setting while enrolled on the course. If this will not be the case please contact us via email at the address below. You must have QTS achieved through a BA, the GTP or a School Direct programme and have an assessed professional portfolio as part of this. You must be able to provide: evidence of your QTS; a letter of support for your application from your current headteacher or a senior member of teaching staff; and an academic reference supporting your application. You should be able to provide evidence of your QTS portfolio. If this is not available, you may be asked to attend an interview. Please note, if you are considering working in a country other than England, please ensure that you are familiar with the local requirements for registering/working as a teacher.
