Course summary
Our Sport Marketing MSc programme will provide you with a robust understanding of the key principles of marketing, whilst delivering the latest best-practice from industry so that you can compete as a marketer in the fast-paced and ever-evolving sport business sector. This Sport Marketing master's programme has been designed to give you a comprehensive understanding of the latest sport marketing and business management techniques, providing you with the skills needed to address associated challenges in the most effective way. You will discover how to create successful sport marketing strategies using market research, targeted marketing techniques and marketing communications knowledge, as well as project management and campaign monitoring skills. Alongside teaching of sports marketing theory and practice, as part of your Sport Marketing MSc you will gain hands-on experience of project planning and industry collaboration, through practical modules such as the Collaborative Project. Assessment method
Assessment for our MSc in Sport Management degree puts an emphasis on applied and practically-relevant assessments underpinned by academic rigour, allowing you to demonstrate your learning in a practical way. A variety of assessment methods are used to cater to different learning styles. You will be assessed through exams, written coursework, presentations and group work, and a project (dissertation).
Entry requirements
A 2:1 honours degree (or equivalent international qualification) degree in the area(s) of sport (including sports science/kinesiology and sport technology), business, management or related subject (marketing, accounting, economics), law or engineering with management.
English language requirements
English Language requirements: IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 6.0 in each subtest (Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking) or equivalent.
