Course summary
Building upon the knowledge gained at Foundation Degree or HND level in criminal justice or on a comparable subject such as policing, you will explore more in-depth modules and topics to achieve a full Honours Degree. You will cover everything from policing and prisons to crime and justice and are strongly encouraged to undertake work experience to enhance your learning. Some of our previous graduates have secured employment with Merseyside Police, the Probation Service and the Youth Offending Service, whilst others have undertaken post-graduate study in criminology and psychology or have undertaken formal legal training.

Policing and Prisons, Substance Misuse and Crime, Crime and Justice Practitioner, Law, Responsibility and Management, Dissertation.
Assessment method
Assessment will be carried out through both formative and summative assessments. This will include your dissertation, presentations, case studies, essay plans, question and answer sessions, debates and literature reviews. You will also be assessed through essays, exams, reflective logs and reports.
