Marketing and Management at Queen Mary University of London - UCAS

Course summary

From influencer marketing and the rise of AI tools to the move towards flexible working, the world of marketing and management is changing. This evolution means there are lots of roles for managers and marketers to pick from in market research, PR and brand consultancy. And we’ll help you find where you fit.  Our course combines business management with marketing theory and practice. You’ll focus on the principles of marketing and management before unpicking more specialised areas. These include advertising, consumer psychology and market analytics. Campus is buzzing with conversations about our latest research on social justice, good governance and sustainability too. *Build your personal brand * Our proximity to the city means you’ll be in the right place for internships and networking events. We also love taking your learning outside of the classroom. Our academics do this by using their connections to arrange visits to companies in the city. Previous partners have included Microsoft and Facebook.  If you select the 'Year in Industry' route, you’ll have the opportunity to spend the third year of your degree on an industry placement with an employer.  We give you the tools you need to confidently step into the world of work. The teaching team also has an initiative to help you build your personal brand, so you know how to present yourself to employers and secure your dream role.
