Qualification requirements
You should have achieved a suitable level 3 qualification in Information Technology, Computing or Digital subject such as a BTEC, T Level, A level, Apprenticeship or Access to Higher Education Diploma. In addition to this, you will also need to have GCSEs at grade 4 or above (A* to C) including English and maths. Prior Learning and Experience Recognition of prior learning (RPL) may be considered on previous qualifications as meeting the learning outcomes for a unit and will be evaluated on an individual basis. University Centre St Helens welcomes applications from mature students (aged 21+) and students from a varied range of backgrounds and experience. Offers of a place on the HND will not be based solely upon academic qualifications alone and relevant experience and skills gained in the workplace, a portfolio, and references will also be considered.
