The agriculture sector covers a broad range of specialisms including livestock production, health & welfare; crop production; business and accounting; precision technology; environment & sustainability. The Agriculture department is based at Fronlas Farm, a 350-acre working sheep and beef farm. Learning at Fronlas Farm allows for the development of academic knowledge alongside practical work experience within the agricultural industry. Fronlas Farm provides purpose-built classrooms as well as workshops, livestock housing and livestock handling facilities. You will expand your knowledge, understanding and skills to allow you to pursue a successful career within the agriculture industry across a range of roles such as: farm manager; auctioneer; sales representative; advisory officer; land agent; farm inspector; agronomist.
