About this course Our Building Surveying programme offers a comprehensive education in surveying and inspection, building pathology, building services engineering, technology innovations, estate and asset management and legislation. Skills Graduate with an advanced set of skills and professional expertise, ready for industry. Building Surveyors are responsible for inspecting buildings to assess their condition, identifying any structural issues, defects, or necessary repairs, and ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and regulations. Their duties include conducting detailed surveys and inspections, preparing reports, and providing expert advice on property maintenance, renovation, and restoration. They also play a crucial role in preserving the integrity and safety of buildings, advising clients on technical aspects and legal requirements related to property and construction. Throughout your time at Roehampton, you will develop your technical expertise, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. You will graduate ready to excel in the dynamic field of Building Surveying. Career opportunities There are a number of opportunities for graduates of Building Surveying. In the built environment sector, internationally, nationally, and regionally, many Building Surveying professionals work in Project Management, Cost Management, Building Control consultancies and as Main Contractors.
