Legal and sociological issues including operation of the criminal courts through punishment, sentencing and policing of society, and social inequalities and law are addressed. You will explore the reality behind newspaper headlines on crime, examining real and practical relevant topics within contemporary society. You will also have the opportunity to take modules that involve volunteer work in the local community.
