Course summary
This award has an overall aim to develop network-based graduates with a detailed understanding of network communications specialising fully in physical and Cloud based technologies. As a subset the award will focus on the supporting disciplines of Cyber Security, Programming, Software Development, Data Applications, Project Management, Artificial Intelligence, and the Internet of Things (through Amazon AWS, Juniper, and CISCO technologies).

Foundation Year: Communications and Cyber; Computer Systems and Data; Individual Project; Programming and Artificial Intelligence; Study Skills and Data Analytics 1; Study Skills and Data Analytics 2 Year 1: Algorithms and Programming Concepts; Cloud and Cyber; Computer Architecture and Operating Systems Design; Data and Distributed Systems; Networks and Communications; Software Development. Year 2: Advanced Networking; Automation; Cloud and Infrastructure Design; Data Analytics; Machine Learning and AI; Professional Practice and Project Management. Year 3: Cloud Architecture; Dissertation; Low-level, Hardware and Lot Security; Negotiated Studies; Network and Cloud Security.
